This archipelago sits at the bottom of South America. The remains of at least two pyramidal structures can be seen on Google Maps and Bing Maps in the Argentinian portion (the side to the West is part of Chile).
We will start by looking at the first structure. It appears to be a larger pyramidal structure with two elongated buildings to the right-hand side of it. The length of the longest side of the base is approximately 386 metres. For comparison, the length of a side of the base of the Great Pyramid of Giza is 230.34 metres.
Here are some aerial shots of the first structure from Bing Maps. Click the images for greater detail:

The aerial shots from Google Maps look different and appear to reveal more of a flat, rectangular apex:

We will now look at the second structure in question. This is situated to the east of ‘Pyramid Structure 1’ by a modest distance. It too appears to be the remains of a rectangular-based pyramid, with elongated pyramidal structures situated immediately adjacent to it.
